Description

This grant will fund a complete overhaul of the existing dYdX API documentation to create a dedicated and better-sectured website, modeled after the V3 documentation. This new structure will improve the onboarding process for new developers, and the ongoing development of new programs for existing traders.

Deliverables for the grant include:

API Documentation
1. Develop a new website that is modeled with the V3 docs format, including all the necessary sections and endpoints to proactively interact with the dYdX Chain.
2. Include code examples and SDK Support in TypeScript, Python, and Rust to ensure easy developer onboarding
3. Migrate all the relevant technical documentation around dYdX Chain specific functionalities to the new website, and add additional content surrounding new upgrades to the protocol.
SDK Parity
1. Monitor TypeScript API updates and ensure all changes are mirrored in the Python and Rust API clients, including the documentation.
2. Maintain a changelog to document version updates and changes.

Liquidation Alerting Tool

This grant will fund the development and maintenance of a frontend tool supporting alert subscriptions for liquidation and deleveraging risks on user positions. Traders with positions that may be at risk of being liquidated, or deleveraged, can submit their subaccounts through the frontend and choose a messaging service of choice (e.g. Telegram, PagerDuty, Email, Slack). The tool will host the subscription requests and submit alerts real-time based on findings queried through the indexer.
