Data Services
Description
This grant will fund the maintenance and expansion of our existing data services with Numia, the leading provider for all dYdX protocol related data.
Numia is being used today across all stakeholders and contributors of the dYdX protocol, including core developers, foundation members, community contributors, and hobbyists. Data indexed through Numia is consumed through a few different methods, including BigQuery tables, the Numia API, and the Numia-run Lenses dashboard.
Services in this engagement includes:
- Ongoing support to maintain real-time ingestion indexing of protocol data, including mempool transactions not necessarily finalized on-chain
- Development of a state indexer for subaccount equity and position related data, indexed on an hourly basis
- Ongoing support to maintain materialized tables used for data querying, and the addition of up to 20 new tables based on upgrades/changes to the protocols (e.g. megavault, affiliates)
- Maintenance of the Lenses dashboard
- Development of new Lenses widgets, including Megavault, DAO PNL, Community Treasury subDAO activity, and prediction markets
- Ad-hoc data services for dYdX stakeholders
With this agreement, we introduce strict SLAs for uptime, data availability, data accuracy, and issue resolutions. These SLAs will guarantee accuracy and uptime across all internal and external dashboards used to monitor the dYdX protocol.
