Hi Everyone!

Happy to share details on the fifth round of funding approved by the Committee! This week we have 6 grants with a total of $132,400.00 in pledged DYDX funding. As always, check out the Funded Grants section below for more information on each grant approved.

With the additions of Grants specific community managers, we’re especially excited to keep the community informed and growing around grants related activity. These grantees will be more active across Twitter and Discord responding to questions and concerns.

We continue to work on updating RFPs and adding new opportunities. Keep the applications coming!

Funded grants

The Defiant Q2 Sponsorship

The grant will be used to sponsor the following: The Defiant Newsletter through a sponsored post, The Defiant Newsletter through a promotional banner for 3 months, The Defiant podcast through promotional messaging in each episode for 3 months.

dYdX Trading Tool - Chrome Extension

The grant will be used to build a chrome extension application that will allow users to execute trades on their dYdX account directly. Users will see their balances, positions and be able to perform trades from the application.

Treasury Asset Diversification

The grant will be used to fund a research deep dive around optimal treasury management and diversification of community treasury funds. Once the research has been completed, the grant will include submitting a DIP for the community to vote on.

Drag and Drop Trading Simulator

The grant will be used to fund build a trading simulator tool with an easy to use strategy builder including drag and drop functionality. The tool will display profitability across various market conditions and highlight strategy success.

Grants Community Manager (India / Asia-Pacific)

The grant will be used to compensate an India based community manager to engage the local community on dYdX and the grants program, source local contributors for the program, and help with promotional campaigns.

The grant will be used to compensate an Latin America based community manager that will be working on promoting the grants program, translating marketing and content into Spanish, and building additional educational content around dYdX in Spanish
