In their Treasury SubDAO proposal, Karpatkey contemplated operationalising the deployment of a portion of the USDC accumulated through the staking program towards buybacks of the DYDX token in the open market, followed by staking of such tokens. The idea is that such an initiative could return value generated by the dYdX network to holders of the DYDX token by reducing the token’s circulating supply.
