dYdX MEV Committee (2025 Extension)
Description
This grant will extend the existing MEV Committee for an additional six months, following the completion of its second six month term. This past term was led by Jordi, who was largely responsible for all the monitoring, reviewing, and reporting shared with the community. Overall, the committee continues to be a productive resource for the community, with multiple instances of validator misperformance and potential misbehavior having been identified. The existence of the MEV Committee, and the regular reporting of even minor issues found among validators, also serves as an important deterrent to future malicious activity.
Reverie continues to support Jordi’s work, helping out with additional reviews, validator communications, and editing of reports. However, Reverie is not paid any additional funding for this work – we include it in our role as Grantor. Jordi will be the only contributor compensated for the committee’s work.
